About Me

Feel free to join me in appreciating all the beauty there is in the Universe. This website is a portfolio/image gallery of this personal journey of mine. This is the start of a  journey to explore the Universe. This web space on the internet was born out of a desire to marvel, enjoy and wonder about the ultimate Space there is out there; the universal space and all that’s part of it, including us. – Daniel Triana (AstroDaniel.com)

About ASTRODANIEL.com

Gazing at the stars, capturing their grandeur and penning celestial tales. I am Daniel Triana (aka AstroDaniel.com), an amateur backyard astrophotographer, author and musician located in Sea Bright, New Jersey (USA).

AstroDaniel.com is a blog I started in early 2023 to document my astronomy journey which was inspired by both; 1) My father’s interest in the Universe (My dad once asked me to give him a framed poster of the Andromeda Galaxy as a birthday gift) and also later 2) I discovered the Dwarf II Smart Telescope which inspired me to enter into astrophotography- since the new Dwarf II technology made it an affordable possibility!

I also record electronic music under my full name; Daniel Triana, which includes observational astronomy inspired song titles such as; DSCOVR, GORESAT and SPACE PROBE (My songs are available through most popular digital music distributors and streaming services).

Vera Nazarian

“When you reach for the stars, you are reaching for the farthest thing out there. When you reach deep into yourself, it is the same thing, but in the opposite direction. If you reach in both directions, you will have spanned the universe.”

Rachel Carson

The more clearly we can focus our attention on the wonders and realities of the universe about us, the less taste we shall have for destruction.”
― Rachel Carson

Stephen Hawking

“Remember to look up at the stars and not down at your feet. Try to make sense of what you see and wonder about what makes the universe exist. Be curious. And however difficult life may seem, there is always something you can do and succeed at.
It matters that you don’t just give up.”
― Stephen Hawking

Douglas Adams

“All you really need to know for the moment is that the universe is a lot more complicated than you might think, even if you start from a position of thinking it’s pretty damn complicated in the first place.”
― Douglas Adams
